Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Austin, TX)

Westbrook Vale Press Partners prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Austin plant, and we need a Senior Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Austin. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
