Senior Production Supervisor - safety and training (remote)

Summit Glen Foods is a Grand Rapids food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on safety and training. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and allergen controls. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
