Senior Production Supervisor - safety and training (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Iron Medical is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. The job centres on safety and training for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and device records. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
