Senior Production Supervisor - line performance (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Bright Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on line performance. You would join a large organisation of about 950 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and complaint handling. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
