Senior Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Sparrow Banking Services and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be timekeeping audits. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
