Senior Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Beacon Construction is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on timekeeping audits for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
