Senior Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Reno, NV)

Clearpath Rook Staffing is a Reno staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
