Senior Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Kansas City, MO)

Highbridge Ember Financial serves customers across Kansas City with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our timekeeping audits. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
