Senior Payroll Specialist - timekeeping audits (Austin, TX)

Ironwood River Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Austin region. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on timekeeping audits. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
