Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Tucson, AZ)

Summit Iron Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Tucson region, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
