Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Spokane, WA)

Nova Rook Staffing is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
