Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Maple Financial and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
