Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Vista Staffing is a San Antonio staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
