Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Salt Lake City, UT)

Summit Amber Financial is a financial-services company in Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
