Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Cedar Kestrel Staffing is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
