Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Nova Rook Staffing places workers with employers around Indianapolis. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
