Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Nova North Staffing places workers with employers around Austin, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
