Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Vale Financial and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
