Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Ironwood River Staffing Partners is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
