Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

Highbridge Linden Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Providence, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
