Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Junction Construction and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
