Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Thistle Staffing Group and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be multi-state payroll. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
