Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Memphis, TN)

Nova Quill Banking Services is a regional lender in Memphis with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
