Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Kansas City, MO)

Highbridge Cross Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Kansas City serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of about 397 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
