Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Jackson, MS)

Greenridge Bright Financial is a financial-services company in Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
