Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Juniper Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Grand Rapids serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 99 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
