Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Granite Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Grand Rapids region, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
