Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Iron Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Columbus. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
