Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Cleveland, OH)

Northwind Ember Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Cleveland, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
