Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Austin, TX)

Harborlight Cobalt Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Austin region, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
