Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Austin, TX)

Nova Wilder Construction is a Austin contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on multi-state payroll. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
