Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Austin, TX)

Clearpath Pine Staffing is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on multi-state payroll for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
