Senior Payroll Specialist - multi-state payroll (Austin, TX)

Rivermark Cobalt Staffing places workers with employers around Austin, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our multi-state payroll. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
