Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Tucson, AZ)

Summit Iron Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Tucson region. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
