Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Seattle, WA)

Lumen Beacon Staffing places workers with employers around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
