Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Rivermark Thistle Staffing Group is a Jackson staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
