Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (remote)

Northwind River Financial Group is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
