Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Memphis, TN)

Bluepeak Umber Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Memphis. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
