Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Kansas City, MO)

Stonegate Loom Construction Group is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 62 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
