Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Kansas City, MO)

Stonegate Meridian Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Kansas City, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our hourly payroll. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
