Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Indianapolis, IN)

Foxglove Amber Construction is a Indianapolis contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on hourly payroll. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
