Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Linden Banking Services and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be hourly payroll. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
