Senior Payroll Specialist - hourly payroll (Austin, TX)

Amberfield Lantern Construction is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on hourly payroll for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
