Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bright Nest Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Virginia Beach, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
