Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Seattle, WA)

Summit Kestrel Staffing places workers with employers around Seattle, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
