Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Umber Banking Services and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
