Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (remote)

Stonegate Ember Financial is a financial-services company in Atlanta, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
