Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Clear Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in New Orleans serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
