Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Miami, FL)

Lumen Meadow Staffing places workers with employers around Miami. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Miami. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
