Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Meadow Staffing Group and adding a Senior Payroll Specialist whose main responsibility will be benefit deductions. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
